New Generation of Threads for Facelift

Thread Face Lift is the Only Non-Surgical Facelift Procedure Available

thread lift on the face is a phenomenon that has stirred a revolution in the world of cosmetic facelift. In this procedure, barbed cog threads are inserted under the skin to create an immediate lift of the sagging skin. Prior to the barbed cog procedure, people did not have a choice but to go under a surgical knife to deal with sagging skin. Plastic surgical face lift has a lot of side effects and is very expensive too; whereas, the thread face lift procedure has no side effects and is a more cost-efficient alternative.

These days, Botox, dermal fillers, and threads are very popular procedures in the cosmetic beauty industry. The thread lift procedure is especially popular in Europe, Asia, North America, and the rest of the world.

The Evolution of Thread Lift

The thread face lift procedure is like any other treatment – there will always be improvements in the quality of the needles, the threads, the technology, and techniques used to perform the procedure.

Over the years, the structure of the barbs and the way they are placed along the threads has significantly improved to create a more efficient, and longer-lasting lift. Recently, these barbed cog threads are 3-D and 4-D to produce a stronger lift of the skin. These threads have several microscopic hooks along the length of the thread (like branches of tree) which make them hang onto the skin, hold and support the tissues along the entire length of the thread.

Thread Insertion Technique on Individuals

The technique used to insert the barbed cog threads is different for everyone depending on the shape of their face (triangle, trapezoid, or rectangular) and the texture of their skin.

The anatomy of an individual’s face, their skin texture, age, the thickness of the skin, the amount of sagging, and the degree of the connection of the outer layer of the skin to the inner layers are what determine the angle of the needle insertion. For instance, individuals with heavier skin texture (more muscles) would require a more vertical angle at the insertion point in order to produce the desired, prominent face lift. In individuals with more sagging skin around the chin and jaw area, we might need to do the crisscross technique in order to produce the maximum results. In addition, in individuals with deep nasolabial folds (laughter lines), we might choose the reverse technique to lift the skin. In conclusion, the thread lift technique will slightly vary based on each individual.
