Non-Surgical PDO Thread Brow Lift for Natural Results

Treatment performed by Dr. Mirfarhang Fazeli

As mentioned in our previous blog posts, PDO Barbed Cog Thread lifting is one of the most efficient and natural non-surgical treatment methods used to lift the eyebrows. One of the benefits of this procedure is that the amount of the lift can be accurately controlled. This means that we are able to perform customized amounts of lifting based on our client’s concerns and requests.

The initial phase consists of examining our client’s skin texture. After that, we are able to determine the best treatment plan to achieve great results to exceed our client’s expectations. During this process, several factors are considered – such as the shape of our client’s face, the shape of their eyebrows, the anatomy and the shape of their forehead, the amount of droopiness, and more. Having kept in mind all these factors, we would then determine the best method out of the two to perform on the individual based on their specific needs.

Two Methods of Eyebrow Lifting: The Straight Eyebrow Technique & The Reverse Technique

There are two methods of eyebrow lift: the straight technique and the reverse technique. The difference between these two methods is based on the direction of needle insertion. Prior to the needle insertion process, we would first numb the skin for the benefit of our client.

Eyebrow PDO thread lifting is performed differently for individuals under 25 years of age.  Since there is a strong attachment between the superficial layers of the skin and the deeper layers, we need to use more threads in order to lift their skin. In addition, for the individuals under 25 years of age, the threads need to be inserted at a deeper depth compared to the people who are over 45 years old. In conclusion, it is important to keep in mind of the individual’s skin condition, texture, thickness, and elasticity, as well as the amount of eyebrow droopiness before performing the PDO thread lifting procedure.

When Can You Perform the PDO Thread Lifting Process After Botox?

Botox injections work by paralyzing the muscles on the forehead which helps reduce frown lines between the eyebrows. When it comes to eyebrow lifting, Botox injections function differently. However, there are no restrictions to individuals who have already used Botox to lift their eyebrows. These individuals are still able to undergo the PDO Cog thread lifting procedure; which can be done after one month from getting Botox injections.
